| 2011-10-21 06:42:34 | mike | All our BE lines suffered an outage between approximately 19:23 and 19:28 yesterday - we have been notified of a data-centre power-failure event that affected our BE provider, and that correlates with these times. Power was restored quickly, and the provider's equipment was back online by 19:28 - it looks like all our BE lines reconnected very soon afterwards. If you are still without a connection, please try rebooting your router. Apologies for any disruption this may have caused. |

We have identified and disabled a misbehaving virtual server that appears to have been generating traffic that was causing port resets of our FB6000 firewall / edge router 'grappa'. The FireBrick software team have identified a potential cause for this behaviour and an update to improve robustness will be applied once some bench testing has been carried out. Apologies for the disruption. |
